Renewal season is upon us.  Has your company planned for your upcoming renewal?  i.e. employee meetings, employee handouts, etc

Did you know that most insurance carriers are changing their current HSA portfolios?  Very few HSA plans will have 100% coverage after the deductible has been met.  Some carriers have instituted co-insurance and others have put a co-pay plan in place. Co-pays will apply to all services except preventive care.  What are your thoughts?

Anthem was mandated by the Connecticut Department of Insurance to reduce their 2010 Blue Care Product rates.  All groups will receive a credit. This credit will appear on your January or February Bill.  

Cigna will no longer be participating under the CBIA Health Umbrella.  Members will have until January 15th, to choose another carrier, Connecticare or Oxford, the remaining two carriers.  Their new coverage will take effect February 1st.
